Today.

Founded in 1961, the Center For Agricultural Experimentation and Assistance is a special agency of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture of Savona. Greenhouses, plastic houses and open fields used for trials, demonstration and extension services cover a total surface of 40,000 m2. Two laboratories are involved in analysis mainly on plant pathogens and pesticide residues on vegetables and ornamentals and transformed food products offering a service to techicians and farmers operating in the Albenga area and even in the Savona province. Besides the buildings include offices, classrooms, a conference hall and the front office dedicated to farm register. The structural and functional extension of the phytopathological laboratory was concluded in October 2008.
